Cristina Abifalah

Cristina is a highly experienced, bilingual Escrow Officer with over 25 years of title experience. “We’re excited to have Cristina join our already strong team in Houston. Having a title professional with Cristina’s experience further strengthens our presence in Houston and allows us to continue improving our ability to service clients in the greater Houston area,” said Open Title Texas’ Chief Title Officer, Adam Setliff.
After relocating from Mexico City to Houston in the late 1990s, Cristina helped Stewart Title open offices across Latin American in countries such as Belize, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, and Mexico to support Americans buying retirement properties abroad.
Transitioning into a Closer role in 2004, Cristina progressively grew her career on the transaction side, culminating in her hiring at Open Title Texas as a Senior Escrow Officer. Cristina’s goal is to help both English and Spanish speaking clients to fully understand the home buying process and achieve their dream of home ownership by providing an exceptional client experience. “Having Cristina and her bilingual capabilities on our team will allow us to serve the rapidly growing Spanish speaking community in Houston and help Spanish speakers to achieve the American dream of owning their own home,” said Open Title Texas’ President for Houston and Director of Growth and Development, E.L.
